Tempo $20.26 Promotion Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Tempo $20.26 promotion, offered by Tempo Limited (“Tempo, we, or us”).

The terms and conditions set out below apply to the promotion, in addition to our Standard Terms and Conditions (available here) and any other terms that may apply to you as a Tempo customer.

Overview of the promotion

Under the promotion, the first 200 eligible new customers whose first ever payment towards any Tempo goal is $20.26 will receive a corresponding one-off $20.26 boost towards that goal on us. Please read on for further details.

Who are eligible new customers?

You will be an eligible new customer if you have set up at least one Tempo goal and completed our customer onboarding process, but have not yet made any payment towards any Tempo goal.

How to get the $20.26 boost

If you are an eligible new customer, you can claim the $20.26 boost by making a payment towards a Tempo goal of exactly $20.26. This needs to be the first payment you have ever made to any Tempo goal and must be received by us during the promotion period.

The $20.26 boost will be invested in the fund mix for your Tempo goal, just like any other payments you make towards your goal. You can expect to receive the $20.26 boost within 7 working days of our receipt of your $20.26 payment (but please let us know if you have not received it within that time frame).

Promotion period

The promotion period runs from 2 February 2026 to 1 March 2026 (inclusive).

Other things to know

This is a one off $20.26 boost towards a Tempo goal. This means that you will only receive it once (regardless of how many times you make a payment of $20.26). It will not be payable if you have closed your Tempo account or the applicable goal before we have made the boost payment to you (or if we have suspended or closed your Tempo account for any reason).

The $20.26 boost is only available to the first 200 eligible new customers who make the required first payment of $20.26 during the promotion period. However, we may, at our absolute discretion, provide it in respect of a payment received after the expiry of the promotion period or to additional eligible customers over and above the 200 customer limit.

The promotion is available to New Zealand residents only. Employees of Tempo and its related companies, and their immediate family members, are not eligible.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions or modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time and will endeavour to provide notice of such changes.

We are not responsible or liable for any failure or delay in providing the $20.26 boost which is caused (directly or indirectly) by forces beyond our reasonable control or by third parties.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, limit or modify any rights or other protections you have under Applicable Laws (as defined in our Standard Terms and Conditions (available here)), including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, except to the extent that this is permitted by law.

These terms and conditions are governed by the law of New Zealand and the courts of New Zealand will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine any dispute arising in relation to these terms and conditions and the promotion.
