Why can’t I close my account?

If you have any withdrawals or deposits in progress you may have to wait a bit before you can close your account. Recent changes to your investments may also delay the account closure process. For example, changing your fund mix or accepting one of our recommended updates.

Generally, it takes 2-4 working days to complete these transactions or changes.

Once complete, you’ll be able to close your account.
